Abstract

This research investigates the critical role of real-time Business Intelligence (BI) analytics in optimizing the planning, execution, and management of smart city infrastructure projects. It explores how BI systems, by integrating data from diverse sources (e.g., IoT sensors, public services, transportation networks), can provide decision-makers with actionable insights for efficient resource allocation, predictive maintenance, and citizen-centric service delivery. The study will analyze case studies of smart city initiatives, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and the specific BI functionalities that contribute to successful holistic urban development.
