Abstract

This paper examines the influence of federated Business Intelligence (BI) architectures on enhancing decision agility within organizations characterized by decentralized operational units or geographically dispersed infrastructure. It explores how federated BI, by allowing local data autonomy while enabling central oversight, can overcome data silos and improve the speed and relevance of decision-making at various organizational levels. The research will employ a mixed-methods approach, including surveys of IT managers and case studies of multinational corporations, to assess the effectiveness and challenges of deploying federated BI for holistic infrastructure insights.
